Electric File State-Board Certification - Program for Licensed Professional

This program will teach:

• How to safely and effectively use electric file technologies in a salon environment
• Proper use of electric nail file techniques using various nail bits currently available in salons
• How to care for natural nails
• Proper techniques currently used in backfills, shaping and finishing
• Effective methodologies for safety and sanitation

Note: A final exam will be issued to each participant at the end of each workshop. A certificate will be awarded to each student upon successful completion of the course accompanying a copy to forward to the Board of Cosmetology. This course is offered on-site at the Bedford NH Campus and is a 6 (six) hour workshop from 9am - 3pm. There will be a lunch break included during all workshops. Please Bring your electric file with you. A 70% average is required for certificate acquisition.

Prerequisite: Manicurist or Cosmetology License, State Driver's License, Social Security Card.

Gives you the opportunity to apply for the Legacy Scholarship

This program is intended for students who are new to the industry and IDI, defined as those who are within 2 months of graduation, or licensed skin therapists who have been in the industry for less than one year.

Each Legacy Scholarship will consist of 100 hours of education at The International Dermal Institute. A minimum of $1,600, depending on which package the student selects.

Should it be necessary to cancel a scheduled class commencement date due to over enrollment, the student will be forced the following options:

1. A guaranteed reservation in the next scheduled class start
2. Cancellation of enrollment with a full refund in tuition
